| Working Principle | 1. Fuel Level Detection: - Resistive type: A float attached to a variable resistor moves with fuel level; changes in resistance correspond to fuel volume (transmitted as an analog signal to ECU). - Capacitive type: The probe acts as a capacitor; fuel (dielectric material) changes the probe’s capacitance, which is converted to a digital signal for fuel level calculation. |
